Chairperson and ordinary members of the Advisory Council against Economic Crime and Corruption

The establishment of the Advisory Council against Economic Crime and Corruption was one of the recommendations made in the Review of Structures and Strategies to Prevent, Investigate and Penalise Economic Crime and Corruption published in December 2020. The principal function of the Council is to advise and make proposals to Government on strategic and policy responses to economic crime and corruption.

Applications are sought for the positions of an independent Chairperson to lead the work of the Council and six ordinary members who will represent the following sectors: (i) business and the financial sector, (ii) academia, and (iii) civil society working with Council representatives from across the public service. Applications must be submitted not later than 15:00 (Dublin time) on Thursday 14th of October 2021, and no late or incomplete applications will be accepted.
